After splitting a doubleheader with Cal State East Bay Pioneers Friday, April 26, 2013, the Gators softball team started strong, sending the Pioneers packing with a 7-0 first game earlier today.

The Gators started the second game on top making first run in the bottom of the second inning. They lost their momentum after giving traction to the Pioneers allowing them to get two runs in the top of the third.

The Pioneers had an error allowing two Gators to slide home durring the bottom of the fifth, but it was the last time the Gators made it home. The Gators gave away three singles in the last three innings to the Pioneers ending the game  5-3 for a Gator loss splitting yet another doubleheader.

The SF State Gator softball team ended their season today with a 22-30 record.
