Fire fighters responded to a fire alarm at the Mary Park Hall dorms at approximately 1:50 p.m. Tuesday.
No fire was detected and the building was not evacuated, according to Battalion Chief Lorrie Kalos.
“Someone smelled burning food but there ended up not being a fire,” Kalos said.
Multiple fire trucks were on the scene and determined the area was safe for students.
