The stage of SF State’s Little Theatre is an arena of manufactured shadows. Giant mirror-plated pillars surround the stage and can be rotated on command to bounce the ominous lighting in any direction. Xpress caught up with some of the actors and the director backstage for the SF State adaptation of “Lorenzaccio,” a romantic tragedy by Alfred de Mussett. “Lorenzaccio” will play Nov. 29 through Dec. 1 and Dec. 6-8 at 8 p.m. It will also play Dec. 2 and 9 at 2 p.m. Admission is $5 to $15.
