Karamel Nunez Martinez (he/she) is the Editor in Chief for the Golden Gate Xpress and a Senior at SF State earning a Bachelor's degree in online and print journalism and a minor degree in astronomy with an emphasis in physics. In addition to covering science as a beat, they have been a visual artist and content creator for over a decade. Karamel is a proud Afro-Latinix member of the LGBT+ community and spent most of their life moving around the Midwest and East Coast.
