Families, local businesses, community programs and visitors gathered at the Mission May 6 for its first of four Sunday Streets.
Sunday Streets is a neighborhood event that brings people together to promote health and community engagement.
Every first Sunday of the month from 11a.m. to 4p.m., several neighborhood streets are blocked off to vehicles and open to pedestrians, bicyclists and activities for people of all ages.
Some free activities people can participate in are yoga, Zumba and silent disco. People can listen to bands, as well as learn how to play musical instruments. Every Sunday Streets will have different activities, but there will always be something for everyone.
