The United Black Student Unions of California Northern Region Conference hosted 250 students at SF State. Highlights included a welcome by Dr. Kenneth Monteiro, who is dean of the College of Ethnic Studies and the Black Family Pledge, the singing of the Black National Anthem, a keynote address by Dr. James Garrett , small group workshops and a step-show featuring the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity from UC Berkeley.
