Another elected official of Associated Students Inc. Board of Directors cited personal reasons when she stepped down last week from her position as vice president of university affairs, marking the third resignation since the start of the semester.
Virginia McBride, former vice president of university affairs, said she would rather focus on her studies than hold the position, but will continue to work with ASI to find a candidate to fill her former seat.
“It’s sad to see you go, but our work as Associated Students must continue,” ASI President Sara Padash said to McBride after she read her letter of resignation to the board.
