A woman was reportedly robbed and beaten with a baseball bat Sunday at SF State, according to a crime safety report sent out to students and faculty.
The victim was walking near the designated smoking area by Mary Ward Hall around 1 a.m., according to the report. The victim said she was walking with a friend when three female suspects approached her.
One of the suspects beat the victim several times with a mini baseball bat and another grabbed the victim’s belongings after she dropped them on the ground during the assault, the report said. The three suspects fled the scene in two cars– a white sedan and a black four-door car parked nearby, the report stated. The victim suffered cuts and facial bruising from the assault.
According to the report, one of the suspects was described as 18 to 20-years-old with shoulder-length dark hair and two lower-lip studs, wearing a Giants t-shirt and high-heeled shoes. The second suspect had curly, shoulder-length hair and was wearing large, golden- colored bamboo earrings, the report said. The report did not describe the third suspect.
The University Police Department is seeking information about the incident and the suspects.
