SF State Vice President and Provost Sue Rosser will be leaving her position on Sept. 1, according to an announcement from President Wong on Thursday.
Rosser will be joining the California State University chancellor’s office as special advisor on research development and external partnerships, while continuing to work with Wong on special projects.
In her new position, Rosser “will concentrate her efforts on expanding under-graduate research opportunities,” and “will also be among those working to craft new onboarding practices for new provosts and vice presidents of student affairs,” according the CSU website.
An interim provost will be announced shortly by Wong while the search for a new provost continues. More information on the announcement can be found on the chancellor’s website.
