Two students were struck by a car while riding a scooter crossing Holloway Avenue outside San Francisco State University around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Several witnesses on the scene said a black Jeep driving west hit the two injured students, one man and one woman, who were riding on a scooter together entering the university outside the J. Paul Leonard Library.
SFSU student Abdol Khan was at the scene as the two students were loaded into an ambulance. The condition of the two students is currently unknown.

The sound of the collision drew Khan to the accident.
“I didn’t actually see it, but I heard it,” Khan said. “They were wounded on the floor.”
According to Khan, the driver is cooperating with San Francisco Police Department officers who arrived on scene.
“The Jeep stopped, and the Jeep driver came to check in with the wounded students,” Khan said. “Everyone was calling the police and it took five to 10 minutes for the police to get to the incident.”
