The SF State Women’s softball team faced off against the Humboldt State Lumberjacks in a doubleheader ending in defeat for the Gators on Friday, March 22, 2013. Both teams had dueling pitchers leaving each other little room to make it back to home plate.

Gator pitcher Emily Gibson (4) stunted the Lumberjacks offense with continuous strikes but as the second game stretched, the Lumberjacks took back the scoreboard in the top of the 9th with a second run, leaving the Gators at a loss in both games, 2-0, 2-1.
