San Francisco police arrested an SF State alumnus Oct. 8 on suspicion of possession of child pornography and the use of hidden cameras, SFGate reported.
Police charged Duane Ackerman with several counts of felonies and misdemeanors which include possession and distribution of over 600 images of child pornography, the sexual exploitation of a minor and a concealed recording device for lewd purposes said Max Szabo, spokesperson for the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office.
Ackerman graduated from SF State with a bachelor’s degree in 1989 and a master’s degree in 2000, according to University officials.
His arraignment is set for Friday, Oct. 16 at 9 a.m. in Department 12 of the Hall of Justice, Szabo said.
