The SF State women’s soccer team will face the Toros of Cal State Dominguez Hills on Sunday, Sept. 30 at Cox Stadium.
Sophomore goalie Nicki Rucki leads the Gators. Last week the California Collegiate Athletic Association named her Women’s Soccer Player of the week. Rucki has not allowed a single goal in the last four games, and during that time, the Gators have gone 3-0-1.
The Toros’ leading scorer is Hollie Kaemerle, who has scored three of the Toros’ six goals this season, as well as one assist. The Gators have scored a total of seven goals this season with Madison Messier as the only Gator that has scored more than one goal.
SF State is currently in third place in their conference with a 2-1-1 conference record, while CSUDH sits in eighth place, with a 1-2-1 conference record.
Both teams have a game against Cal State LA before the matchup on Sunday. CSUDH faces Cal State LA on Sept. 25 and the Gators will face the Golden Eagles on Friday, Sept. 28.
