Christopher Alexandru Barboi (he/him) is the Spanish copy editor for Golden Gate Xpress. Chris is double majoring in Spanish Language and Literature and Chinese Literature and Linguistics. Chris is a polyglot and values language access as the focal point of his career as a language professional, as he comes from a bilingual Romanian household in Chicago, IL. Outside of language work, you can catch Chris calling his friends, swimming/lifeguarding, or at the farmers market. 

Christopher Alexandru Barboi (él) es el corrector de español para Golden Gate Xpress. Chris estudia con Doble Especialización en Lengua y Literatura Española y Literatura y Lingüística China. Chris es políglota y considera el acceso al idioma el punto central de su carrera como profesional de la lengua. Viene de un hogar bilingüe rumano en Chicago, Illinois. Fuera de su trabajo de idiomas, encontrarás a Chris hablando con sus amigues, nadando,  trabajando como salvavidas, o en el mercado agrícola.
