San Francisco artist, Jason Jägel, lectured for students on his work as part of professor Lewis deSoto’s graduate seminar class last Thursday.
Being the compulsive doodler that he is, Jägel’s work contains drama, language and a fusion of colors. Much of his work comes from his personal relationships including that of his and his daughters.
His work appears in The Museum of Modern Art, The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, UCLA Hammer Museum and Portland Museum of Art, as well as The Illuminated Library in the Fine Arts Gallery at SF State.
