Jovanni Alvarado, Staff Reporter
Jovanni Alvarado (he/him) is a staff reporter for Golden Gate Xpress. He is a third-year student majoring in journalism with a minor in education. Jovanni was born and raised in East Los Angeles, California. Before transferring to San Francisco State University, Jovanni was the Sports Editor for The Courier, the student newspaper at Pasadena City College. In his free time, Jovanni enjoys watching sports, listening to music, reading political philosophy, watching anime and spending as much time as possible with friends and family.
