What’s that smell?
San Francisco State University’s greenhouse held an event to let visitors see and smell the newly bloomed corpse flower. The flower, amorphophallus titanum, takes years to bloom and has a stench similar to rotting flesh, attracting pollinators to continue its life cycle. Visitors came from around the Bay Area to see it before it withers.
