Second armed robbery within four days occurs Halloween night

A male victim contacted the University Police around noon yesterday to report an on-campus strong-armed robbery, according to a campus-wide email sent by Vice President & Title IX Coordinator Luoluo Hong. This incident marks the second armed robbery to occur on campus in the span of a week.

The robbery occurred at approximately 11:50 p.m. on Oct. 31. The victim was walking between the Administration and Business buildings when one of three male suspects put him in a headlock and verbally threatened him demanding the victim give him his wallet, according to the email, which was sent out Monday night.

The three suspects fled on foot toward Holloway Avenue and Junipero Serra Boulevard.

The victim was not injured during the incident, and provided the following description of the robbery:

-Possible Black male adult, 6’0” tall, 170 pounds, with no facial hair, wearing a tie-dye bandana, blue circular 60’s style sunglasses, a black and white paisley shirt, brown corduroy pants, and white Nike “Roshe” tennis shoes;

-Possible Black male adult, 6’0” tall, 180 pounds, 23-25 years old, wearing a half-face skeleton mask, black Levis 501 hat (with white lettering), a gray long-sleeve hoodie, and baggy blue jeans;

UPD says race and/or ethnicity-related identifiers are to assist the apprehension of the suspects.
